“By letting it go it all gets done. The world is won by those who let it go. But when you try and try. The world is beyond the winning.” – Lao Tzu
“Forgiveness is not always easy. At times, it feels more painful than the wound we suffered, to forgive the one that inflicted it. And yet, there is no peace without forgiveness.” – Marianne Williamson
“We have to let go of all blame, all attacking, all judging, to free our inner selves to attract what we say we want.” – Joe Vitale
“Honor your being, Release each and every struggle, Gather strength from life’s storms, Relax into the arms of spirit.” – Jonathan Lockwood Huie
All I know is that I know nothing. I have to learn to open my heart every morning when I open my eyes. I have to learn to love everyday all over again. I have to learn to let go and forgive over and over. I have to learn to heal and breathe with each new day. I have to learn like this is the first day of my life. I have to learn how to use my wings so I can fly. I have to learn to trust my intuition. I have to learn self-compassion. I have to learn the strength of vulnerability. If you feel that you’re responsible for everything , it’s time to surrender.
And when you opt for change, think carefully about exactly what needs to be different, and why. Letting things be instead of constantly struggling to make them happen is a wonderful gift we give to ourselves. If we look back on life, we will see that some of our best moments and greatest opportunities did not come out of the struggle to set things right. They seem like lucky coincidences, as if they occurred because we were in the right places at the right times. That is how surrender works, and that is how life works: subtly. So many people who want to change what they are come to the realization that a shoemaker makes shoes, remembering that we can bring incredible style, creativity, and worth to the way we make shoes, instead of trying to do something else.”
“Loving ourselves is receiving the love that is always around us. To love ourselves is to remove all barriers. It’s difficult to see the barriers we erect around ourselves, but they’re there, and they play into all our relationships.”
I’m learning to be thankful for my struggle, while mindful at the same time. What if I can’t handle whatever life situation might come…what if I make a mess of things again? No more chasing after things…or spending energy trying … Continue reading →
