Down by the Stream

Down by the Stream

Shake off the snow!
Lighten the load
It ain’t so serious
Laughing at myself
Walk the talk
And leave behind
The rocks of life,
Those heavy burdens
Lighten your load
Pull up a chair
Or move to the groove

Come, do what you must
And shake off the snow
Smile, laugh, and hold hands!
Note to self:
Whatcha gonna do?
Or can you just be
In your divinity?
You aren’t a human doing!
You’re a divine being!

The patterns repeat
Until dust to dust
How much am I learning?
Who’s measuring?
The process; the cycle
In and out
Breathe, and then
Stillness…
Like a solitary
Christmas tree
Laughing with the stream.
